Our client is currently seeking an experienced Plating Supervisor for a major industrial new build project based in Hertfordshire. This is a long-term opportunity offering consistent hours and the chance to work on a high-profile project.
Responsibilities:
- Supervising plating and fabrication teams on site
- Coordinating daily activities to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
- Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings and project specifications
- Monitoring quality standards and ensuring work is completed to specification
- Managing labour, materials, and productivity on site
- Conducting toolbox talks and ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures
- Liaising with project management, QA/QC teams, and other trades
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Plating, Fabrication, or equivalent qualification
- Valid CCNSG Safety Passport / ACE Card
- SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) certification
- Previous supervisory experience on industrial projects
- Strong understanding of fabrication and structural installation processes
- Ability to lead teams and maintain productivity targets
- Excellent knowledge of site health & safety requirements
