Rates: Paid in line with Blue Book Agreement
- Basic Pay: £23.45 per hour + holidays
- OT1: £32.83 per hour
- OT2: £42.21 per hour
- Accommodation: £53.39 per day or hotel provided
- Bonus: £2.37 per hour
- Travel Fare: £2757.45 per week - 70 hour working week - including lodge and bonus
Our client is currently seeking experienced Platers for a long-term industrial new build project based in Hertfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity to join a major project offering consistent hours and long-term work.
Responsibilities:
- Fabrication and installation of structural steelwork and plate components
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and fabrication details
- Marking out, fitting, and assembling steel plate and structural sections
- Working with heavy industrial materials and equipment safely
- Carrying out modifications and repairs as required on site
- Working closely with welders, supervisors, and other trades to meet project deadlines
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Plating, Fabrication, or equivalent qualification
- Valid CCNSG Safety Passport / ACE Card
- Previous experience working on industrial new build projects
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Strong understanding of site health & safety procedures
Details:
- 10-hour shifts
- 11-day fortnight rotation
