Piping Supervisor – Industrial New Build Project
Location: Hertfordshire
Duration: 6-9 Month Contract
Hours: 11 Day Fortnight | 10 Hours Per Day
Rates: Paid in line with Blue Book Agreement
- Supervisor
- Basic Pay: £28.01 per hour + holidays
- OT1: £39.21 per hour
- OT2: £50.41 per hour
- Accommodation: £53.39 per day or hotel provided
- Bonus: £4.00 per hour
- Travel Fare: £3152.25 + holidays you accrue inc bonus and lodge

- Basic Pay: £33.87 per hour + holidays
- OT1: £47.42 per hour
- OT2: £60.96 per hour

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Piping Supervisor for a major industrial new build project based in Hertfordshire. This is an excellent long-term opportunity on a large-scale industrial development.
Responsibilities:
- Supervising pipefitting and piping installation teams on site
- Coordinating daily work activities to meet programme deadlines
- Reading and interpreting isometric drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications
- Ensuring all pipework installations are completed to quality and safety standards
- Monitoring productivity, material usage, and workforce allocation
- Conducting toolbox talks and enforcing site health & safety procedures
- Liaising with project management, QA/QC personnel, and other trades on site
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Pipefitting or equivalent qualification
- SSSTS
- Valid CCNSG Safety Passport / ACE Card
- Previous supervisory experience on industrial projects
- Strong knowledge of industrial piping systems and installation practices
- Ability to lead teams effectively in a fast-paced site environment
- Good understanding of site quality and safety standards
