PAYE Direct Rates:
- 1st 40 Hrs Monday-Friday - £14.28 per hour + £1.72 / hr holiday pay = £16.00 per hour
- Over 40 Hrs Monday - Friday & Saturday / Sunday- £17.85 per hour + £2.15 / hr holiday pay = £20.00 per hour
Hours of work: 10 Hours per day Monday to Friday, 5 Hours on a Saturday, Total 55 hours per week - with possible extra hours
The Role: We require a labourer for a long term project in Birmingham, the successful candidate will be working on a large scale infrastructure project in Birmingham.
Duties:
- Unload and load building materials, tools, and equipment
- Support mechanical trades on site
- Move and assemble materials, tools, and equipment
- Assist with the installation of structures and components
- Clean and prepare construction sites
- Follow instructions from supervisors
- Adhere to safety standards
- Follow verbal and written instructions
- Lift and carry heavy items
- Operate hand and power tools
- Operate and maintain equipment and tools
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required:
- Green CSCS Card in date
- Safety Critical Medical in date
- Previous experience working on HS2 in Birmingham, ideally with BBV Induction
