Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Construction Manager to oversee the construction of large-scale viaducts and bridge structures. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction process, from planning and budgeting to execution and completion. This is a leadership role that requires strong organisational, technical, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Plan and manage all phases of the construction project, ensuring it is completed on time and within budget. Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to achieve project goals.
- Budget and Cost Control: Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and controlling costs. Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality and safety.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all construction work meets industry standards, codes, and regulations. Implement and maintain quality control procedures to deliver a high-quality end product.
- Safety and Compliance: Promote and enforce a culture of safety on the construction site, adhering to all safety regulations and guidelines. Monitor and address any safety issues promptly to prevent accidents. Build and lead a motivated and skilled construction team. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering professional growth and development.
- Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities. Prepare regular progress reports and attend project meetings.
