Location: Birmingham

PAYE Direct Rate:

  • 1st 40 Hours M-F - £21.00 per hour + £2.53 holiday pay = £23.53 per hour
  • Over 40 Hours + Sat/Sun - £26.24 per hour + £3.16 holiday pay = £29.40 per hour
  • Lodge Allowance - £60.00 per day worked

Duration: up to 18 Months

Hours: 58 hours per week Mon - Sat

About the Role: Integrate Resources Group is currently seeking experienced Platers for an exciting project on large-scale bridge structure. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile infrastructure projects, contributing to the construction of critical transport links.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Heavy structural steel plating, fabrication, and assembly
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and engineering specifications
  • Working with high-tolerance steel components
  • Operating cutting, grinding, and welding tools where required
  • Ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Plater in a heavy structural steel environment
  • Previous work on bridge, viaduct, or large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans
  • Proficiency in plating, tack welding, and burning
  • Valid CSCS card (or equivalent)
  • NVQ Level 3 / Apprenticeship in Plating/Fabrication (preferred)
  • IPAF / MEWP / PASMA / Confined Space (advantageous)
