My client is a well-established market leading industrial construction, operations and maintenance sector and are recruiting for a Health & Safety Trainer to join their existing team, reporting into Barnsley head office and covering locations nationwide.
As a Health & Safety Trainer your role will focus on all day-to-day training of all H&S training requirements for all staff and duties will include:
- Delivering mandatory H&S training activities including IOSH Managing Safely / Working Safely
- Identify any training needs within the H&S arena
- Maintain departmental H&S training records, assessment paperwork and data
- Provide technical support to all colleagues
- Work with Training Team to improve the quality of training and learning delivered by the company
- Attend Meetings as and when required
Training
- Minimum of Level 3 Award in Education & Training (AET) or equivalent teaching qualification is essential.
- Have an in-depth understanding of H&S legislation
- Proven experience in training and development
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Ability to work under pressure with multiple supervisory staff
- Good report writing skills
- Full UK driving license
