We are currently recruiting experienced Welder/Fabricators to join a busy and growing engineering team. This role offers a mixture of workshop-based fabrication work and vessel-based projects, including travel to quayside locations. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled tradespeople seeking long-term work, overtime opportunities, and enhanced rates for vessel work.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
- Carry out MIG welding to a high standard
- Carry out TIG welding to a high standard
- Perform Flux Core welding work
- Complete fabrication work from engineering drawings
- Work within workshop environments
- Travel to vessel and quayside locations when required
- Support marine and vessel-based projects
- Work safely within fast-paced engineering environments
- Ensure all work meets quality standards
- Follow company health and safety procedures
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Work effectively as part of a team
- Meet project deadlines and production targets
- Maintain a professional attitude at all times
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail
- Maintain clean and organised working areas
- Assist with fabrication and assembly duties

Pay & Hours
- Basic pay rate of £13.00 – £20.00 per hour depending on experience
- Overtime paid at x1.5 rate with uncapped earning potential
- Enhanced rates available for vessel work
- Minimum of 39 hours per week
