About the Role: We are currently seeking experienced Piping Welders with strong skills in GTAW (TIG) and FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) for ongoing projects in Aberdeen. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established team working on high-spec piping systems across the marine and industrial sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality welds on carbon and/or stainless steel pipework using GTAW and FCAW processes
- Interpret engineering drawings and welding specifications
- Carry out weld tests and visual inspections to meet project and safety standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Work collaboratively with fitters, supervisors, and other trades on-site
Requirements:
- Proven experience in piping welding with both GTAW and FCAW processes
- Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings
- Valid coding/certification (preferred but not essential; weld tests can be arranged)
- CSCS/CCNSG or equivalent safety card (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
