The Role
Our client has a requirement for Plater for ongoing maintenance on British Steel Scunthorpe. Duties will include:
- Using oxyacetylene burning equipment to remove sections of plate
- Setting out, marking and cutting steel plate
- Repairing heat distorted steel plate
- Plate, pipe, channel and bracket repairs
- MMA welding on mild steel plate

- Experience of working on large industrial sites (cement, power, refinery, steel)
