Position: Industrial Painter Blaster

Location: Pembroke

Start Date: Immediate

Duration: 6 months

Shifts: Mon-Fri, Basic 39hrs/week + O/T

PAYE Pay Rate:

Mon-Fri, 1st 39 hrs: £17.25/hr + £1.25/hr Bonus
O/T 1: £25.88/hr
O/T 2: £34.50/hr

The Role:

Integrate Engineering Resources are currently recruiting for Industrial Painter Blasters on behalf of our client, for workshop based roles with the potential to lead to site work. The work will involve undertaking painting duties including applications of industrial coatings, blasting, cleaning, wrapping and metal spraying to ensure the highest standard of finish for a range of surfaces, components or modules within the Oil, Gas, Petrochemical, Marine, Nuclear and Construction sector.

Duties will include:

-Power wash components to remove contamination

-Protect machine surfaces and mask any areas not requiring surface preparation and protection

-Shotblast surfaces to required profile

-Apply stripe coating to areas where access by spraying is difficult, this is to be undertaken for each coat

-Spray coat, the required coating system per the specified procedure

-Check quality and thickness of application

-Alternative to paint system is to apply thermal spray aluminium

-Safe handling and movement of components

-Promote a safe working environment and always ensure that the coating workscope is completed safely and to a high standard

-Work safely and adhere to Ledwood company policies/ procedures and those of our client

-Read, understand and implement risk assessments and safe working practices/ procedures safely and efficiently.

-Read, understand and implement Work Permits in a safe working and controlled manner.

-Follow the schedule communicated by the Supervisor and Manager.

-Work as part of a team to successfully achieve the aims and objectives of the Project/ Workscope

-Maintain tools and equipment on a daily basis

-Demonstrate flexibility and approachability

-Proactively seek additional tasks where time permits.

Requirements:

-ICATS / Train the Painter

-CCNSG Safety Passport (required for Site work only)

-Forklift Telehandler / Counter Balance (desirable)

-MEWPS (desirable)
