The Role:

Integrate Engineering Resources are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis for a leading residential groundworks and civil engineering contractor within their Southern Region. The successful candidate will manage the commercial side of residential groundworks projects, helping to keep projects on budget and running smoothly. Duties include:

  • Preparing budgets and valuations
  • Monitoring project costs
  • Carrying out regular site visits
  • Managing subcontractor accounts and payments
  • Assisting with final accounts
  • Preparing forecasts
  • Working closely with clients, suppliers and site teams

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within residential groundworks, civil engineering or a similar construction environment
  • Strong commercial and financial management skills
  • Experience preparing valuations, cost reports and forecasts
  • Ability to manage subcontractor procurement and commercial accounts
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Full UK driving licence
