PAYE Pay Rate:

Days:

Weekdays / First 40 hrs -£25.88 + £3.12 hol pay =£29 /hr

Over 40 hrs / Weekends – £32.35 + £3.90 hol pay=£36.25 /hr

Nights:

Weeknights / First 40 hrs – £29.45 + £3.55 =£33 /hr

Over 40 hrs / Weekends – £36.82 + £4.43 =£41.25 /hr

Lodge Allowance:£60 per day worked

Job Description:

We are currently seeking 4 experienced 111 MMA Welders (2 for days, 2 for nights) for a major bridge structure project in Birmingham, starting on 23rd June 2025. This is a short-term intensive contract requiring operatives to work 12 hour shifts on a 12 on 2 off shift structure. Since there is no weld test, operatives will need to have in-date 111 coding.

Key Requirements:

– CSCS Card

– Valid and in-date111 Coding.

– IPAF / MEWP / Harness Training

– Safety Critical Medical (preferred)

– Proven experience working on thick structural steel previous bridge or heavy infrastructure projects desirable.

– Strong understanding of welding safety procedures and quality requirements.
