As a Maintenance Electrician you will be responsible for all LV electrical infrastructure on site, adhering to current regulations and local/standard procedures. As part of the diverse infrastructure team, you will be expected to be reactive and proactive to maintain compliance.
Main Duties- To complete Statutory and non-statutory PPMS ensuring all relevant documentation and certification is kept up to date.
- To complete reactive requests as per the client.
- Be able to quote for small works and complete as required.
- Capable of fault finding on single and three phase circuits.
- Be able to complete and follow RAMS.
- You will have at least 3 years’ experience within the electrical industry and hold the below qualifications. Preferably in a commercial/industrial background.
- You will have a good knowledge and understanding of single and three phase circuits.
- Be able to test and certify if needed.
- Must be a team player and able to work alone.
- Be proactive and driven, with a desire to improve process.
- Able to complete training in other disciplines (BOAS/ETP) with a view to join the on-call ROTA.
- Have a Full UK driving License and willing to travel to neighbouring sites when requested.
- Have excellent communication skills and capable of dealing with the client directly.
- Must be punctual and good at time keeping.
- Have good IT skills and able to manage work through a PDA.
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installations AM2 certificate.
- 18th edition BS7671.
- 2391 Testing and inspection.
- IPAF 3a – 3b – preferable but not required.
- PASMA – preferable but not required.
- PAT testing - preferable but not required.
