The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
To support the day / night site based Service engineers both technically and logistically. Ability to perform all engineers’ duties, participate in the OOH emergency stand by coverage. Quoting and securing additional reactive works and projects.
Main Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Support to day / night shift service engineers
- Management and daily service operations of the store
- Health and Safety management of Site based service operations and staff
- Maintaining effective communication with contracted customers
- Recruitment of Service Engineer resource
- Interaction and support with Projects BU
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation. Ie. F-Gas logs inc CO2 / Glycol / A2L.
- Ensure all engineering processes and decisions are well-documented.
- Client relationship management
- Provide regular updates on high profile jobs, risks, and issues to senior management.
- Work with office to help complete KPI deadlines on PPM’s and reactive.
- Prepare technical reports as required.
- Encourage and facilitate ongoing learning and skills development within the team.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovations.
- Lead efforts to implement new tools, technologies, and methodologies.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, project managers.
- Translate technical concepts into non-technical terms for various audiences.
- Stock management, keeping critical parts and consumables at a good level.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant service supervision experience in the Retail Refrigeration sector and service operations.
- Ability to interface with client and provide technical expertise
- Good technical knowledge of RAC systems and equipment
- Good commercial and negotiation skills
- Ability to operate on own initiative and as part of a team to effect attainment of agreed targets and objectives
- Ability to develop a good understanding of our customers business requirements and operations
- Proactive approach to all tasks undertaken – a ‘can-do’ attitude
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work overtime when required
- Good Working knowledge of Microsoft software including Excel and Word
- Time Served Refrigeration Engineer
- CITB Safety Passport.
- City & Guilds 2078 / 2079 F-Gas Refrigerant Handling
- City & Guilds 207 - Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
- NVQ1, 2 & 3 - Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
- Pressure Testing Competency.
- Specific Compressor Manufacturers Training Courses.
- Controls and Strategy experience
- Product courses on chillers beneficial
