This critical role involves maintaining complex building systems across a multi-tenanted campus, including HVAC systems, electrical distribution, communications infrastructure, and critical switch rooms.\n Key Responsibilities \n Critical Systems Management \n \n \n Monitor and maintain HVAC systems \n Oversee water management systems \n Maintain electrical distribution systems and emergency power generation equipment, emergency backup systems, UPS management. \n \n Regulatory Compliance & Documentation \n \n \n Ensure all facility operations comply statuary compliance \n Complete accurate shift logs, maintenance records, and regulatory documentation \n Participate in regulatory inspections and audits as required \n Maintain calibration schedules for critical monitoring equipment \n \n Preventive & Reactive Maintenance \n \n \n Execute scheduled preventive maintenance activities according to established protocols \n Respond to emergency calls and system alarms within established timeframes \n Troubleshoot and repair building automation systems (BAS) and process equipment \n Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs \n \n Safety & Environmental Management \n \n \n Implement and maintain safety protocols in accordance with OSHA and company standards \n Monitor environmental conditions including temperature, humidity, and particulate levels \n Manage hazardous waste disposal and chemical storage procedures \n Conduct safety inspections and participate in safety training programs \n \n Required Qualifications \n Education & Certifications \n \n \n Associate's degree in Engineering Technology, Facilities Management, or related field \n Relevant trade certifications (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) preferred \n FDA-regulated environment experience strongly preferred \n \n Experience \n \n \n 3-5 years of facilities engineering experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or similar regulated environment \n Experience with cleanroom operations and GMP requirements \n Knowledge of building automation systems (Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Siemens) \n \n Technical Skills \n \n \n Understanding of HVAC psychrometrics and cleanroom classifications (ISO 14644) \n Knowledge of electrical systems including motor controls and power distribution \n Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) \n Basic understanding of process validation and qualification protocols \n \n Preferred Qualifications \n \n \n Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field \n Professional Engineer (PE) license \n Experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies \n Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes \n Familiarity with 21 CFR Part 11 electronic records requirements \n \n \nThis role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a global client, lead a diverse team, and drive innovation in facilities management.
