Shift timings: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM and 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
The Role
To implement the building services, planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programme and reactive maintenance (RM) in accordance with the building operating manuals and in compliance with the contract service levels. To support other team members and their tasks and that they are programmed and carried out effectively.
Main Responsibilities
- To liaise with the Contract support team, Controller of work, Engineering team dealing with day-to-day engineering & other contract issues.
- To carry out planned and reactive maintenance as instructed by the Contract Delivery Manager.
- To close/update completed PPM tasks on the CAFM system.
- Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment, and ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures, as well as client site policies, procedures and working arrangements, as required.
- Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared and adhered to for all tasks carried out to ensure safe working practices.
- Ensure that engineering subcontractors are appropriately supervised, and comply with contractual commitments, and site operating processes.
- To follow the appropriate controls within the Permit to Work systems.
- The post holder will support the static and mobile Site Services Officers / Engineers.
- An ability to communicate with others effectively; this will include clients and end users.
- To have a flexible approach to working times to suit the client & business requirements.
- Maintain Health & Safety records and ensure good practice.
- Maintain accurate site records/documentation in association with all site works.
Qualifications & Experience
- Current Full UK driving licence.
- A good awareness of Health & Safety working practices.
- Understanding of basic joinery, general DIY & basic Plumbing.
