Mobile Engineer (Electrical bias)

An opportunity has arisen for a Mobile Engineer (Electrical bias) to join our team.

The area predominantly covered is Bristol & Southwest. The purpose of the role is to operate within the PAM division, supporting mobile and site-based engineers in delivering M&E PPM, associated remedial works, and reactive works as per site requests.

Day to Day

  • Ensure compliance with agreed-upon terms and service level agreements.
  • Ensure the contract efficiently meets all relevant KPI & SLA requirements.
  • Carry out PPM and reactive works, both in and out of hours (normal working hours 08:30 – 17:00).
  • Procure materials in coordination with the Lead Engineer or Assistant Contract Delivery Manager.
  • Be available to attend or manage critical call outs and provide written reports, including preparing quotes for remedial works.
  • Ensure annual testing of tools and equipment is up to date.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Comply with SOPs for contract delivery.
  • Follow health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Assist in the production of quotes as required.
  • Complete PPM works and reporting.
  • Utilise facilities management software to complete and load worksheets immediately after job completion.

Skills & Qualifications

  • City & Guilds electrical qualification (minimum)
  • 18th Edition
  • Electrical Testing & Inspection (desirable)
  • Good knowledge of electrical services

Additional Information

This position does not have a regular call-out rota; however, you may need to work out of hours/weekends to supervise teams on Fan Coil Maintenance and other essential tasks. On-call requirements may change in the future.
