Maintenance Plumber Based - Derby (on client site Rolls-Royce)
Hours - 40hrs per week (Monday to Friday)
At JLL, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Plumber to join our Facilities Management team in Derby. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in Rolls-Royce’s buildings managed by JLL. You will work collaboratively with our maintenance teams to ensure all plumbing systems operate efficiently and comply with UK building regulations and safety standards.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures, pipes, and related equipment in buildings across the Rolls-Royce Derby sites.
- Respond to emergency plumbing situations and troubleshoot issues to minimise disruption to building operations.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance on plumbing systems including drains, water lines, and sanitary systems.
- Collaborate with other maintenance professionals to address integrated building systems issues.
- Document all maintenance activities, parts used, and follow-up recommendations in our facility management system.
- Ensure compliance with UK Water Regulations, Building Regulations Part G, and other relevant health and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with property managers and tenants regarding plumbing issues and resolutions.
Required Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing or equivalent qualification
- Valid Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS) certification
- Knowledge of UK plumbing regulations and health and safety requirements
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and building plans
- Full UK driving licence
- Familiarity with computerised maintenance management systems
- Knowledge of sustainable plumbing practices and water efficiency measures
