We are looking for a Regional Facilities Manager to join the team on an award-winning contract to look after a Head Office site and associated building in Canary Wharf. You will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective facility services while maintaining JLL's standards of excellence and driving client satisfaction across a diverse portfolio of properties. The account is going into significant portfolio alterations which will require a leader who can influence positive change, have an attention to detail and coordinate multiple workstreams in a matrix environment.
What your day will look like:
- Strategic Leadership & Client Management
- Develop and execute regional facility management strategies aligned with JLL's objectives and client requirements.
- Serve as primary point of contact for key regional clients, building strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and expansion opportunities within the region.
- Ensure consistent service delivery standards across all managed facilities in the portfolio.
- Operational Excellence
- Oversee day-to-day facility operations across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs to optimize asset performance and lifecycle.
- Coordinate emergency response procedures and business continuity planning across the region.
- Financial Management
- Manage regional budget responsibility, including accurate forecasting, and cost control measures.
- Identify cost optimization opportunities while maintaining service quality standards.
- Identify CAPEX items for inclusion in asset replacement cycles.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Facility Managers and technical staff across multiple locations.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and create professional development plans.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and service excellence.
- Manage resource allocation and workforce planning to meet operational demands.
- Vendor & Contractor Management
- Oversee procurement and management of third-party service providers across the region.
- Elevate vendor performance, and ensure compliance with agreements.
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key suppliers and contractors.
- Conduct regular vendor reviews and implement improvement initiatives.
- Technology & Innovation
- Champion adoption of facility management technologies.
- Leverage data analytics to drive informed decision-making and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and client value.
- Support digital transformation initiatives across the regional portfolio.
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with local, regional, and national regulations including environmental, health, and safety standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate operational risks.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and reporting systems.
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective action plans.
- Sustainability & ESG
- Develop and implement sustainability initiatives aligned with client and JLL ESG goals.
- Identify opportunities for environmental improvements and cost savings.
- Support certification programs such as LEED, BREEAM, or WELL.
Required Qualification & Experience
- Professional certifications such as CFM (Certified Facility Manager), FMP (Facility Management Professional), or equivalent preferred.
- Health & Safety certifications relevant to the region.
- Minimum 8-10 years of progressive facility management experience.
- At least 5 years in a regional or multi-site management role.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale facility operations and diverse teams.
- Experience in client-facing roles with strong relationship management capabilities.
- Background in budget management and P&L responsibility.
