Core Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 17:00pm

Reporting To: Contract Delivery Manager

Location: Peterborough, PE1 (Site Based)

Role Overview: JLL Workplace Management are currently seeking a Site Based Supervisor to join our team at our retail client site located in Peterborough, PE1. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of pre-planned and reactive maintenance activities including but not limited to the statutory position of the property inclusive of the reporting on any issues identified by client consultants or insurers on the client's CAFM systems. The Supervisor will work closely with and contribute ideas to the Contract Delivery Manager and deputise for them in their absence.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Health & Safety Management
    • Ensure that all JLL and Client Health and Safety Policies and procedures are adhered to on site, referring conflicts to the Contract Manager where necessary.
    • Comply with JLL's Health, Safety and Environmental procedures, as detailed in the site plans.
    • Carry out regular site audits ensuring any exceptions found are resolved.
    • Preparation and provision of documentation relating to CDM works.
  • Maintenance Operations Management
    • Lend support to the Helpdesk Administrator to plan the PPM labour inclusive of out of hours working.
    • Schedule any reactive tasks and ensure the effective completion of all maintenance work on site; either through colleagues or sub-contractors.
    • Ensure that any recommendations from servicing are picked up and addressed.
    • Lend support to the helpdesk administrator in the distribution of work to team members based on capability and capacity.
    • Carry out site PPM works as cover for annual leave or sickness as required.
  • Quality & Technical Support
    • Work to agreed quality systems, ensuring preventative and remedial actions are taken where necessary as laid down in the quality manual.
    • Provide technical support to team.
    • Supervision of additional works on site ensuring full compliance with the appropriate site requirements.
  • Commercial & Administrative
    • Preparation of quotations for additional works where required.
    • Ensure best purchasing practice using JLL's nominated suppliers.
    • Deputise for CDM in KPI meetings or similar.
    • Attend monthly WIP meetings to gain an understanding of the financial aspects of the contract as part of career development.
    • Complete any other associated task or reasonable request by the CDM.

  • Technical Skills & Experience
    • Computer literate with a good understanding of Word and Excel.
    • Engineering experience within building services.
  • Qualifications
    • NVQ / C&G Electrical Engineering (Preferred) or NVQ / C&G Mechanical Engineering.
    • LVAP (Desirable).
