We are seeking a Electrical Shift Leader to work on high profile Bank\’s London HQ in the City.

The contract demands a passionate and ambitious Electrical Shift Leader who has a natural drive to lead a team and deliver excellent customer service always going above and beyond. Hours: Shift Leader – Corporate Bank HQ in central london

Roles & Responsibilities:

Integral has a unique opportunity for a talented Shift Leader to perform M&E maintenance within an exclusive, high commercial building based in the heart of The City, London. The main duties and responsibilities of the role are:

  • Close liaison and working relationship with the Technical Manager
  • Operate all systems within the buildings in a competent, effective and efficient manner
  • Act as the Duty Authorised Person (HV) whilst on duty
  • Issue relevant site Permits as part of the Safe System of Work
  • Completion of PPM and reactive tasks and update the system.
  • Ensure that daily tours are completed and repair or report any defects found via the Landlord helpdesk
  • Identification of materials required to be order in a timely manner and completion of the internal Materials Request Form
  • Maintain and supervise effective shift handovers
  • Comply with both statutory and company health, safety and environmental regulations and policies.
  • Timely implementation and recording of statutory inspections including accurate recording of fire, access equipment and water hygiene records within their specified folders completing regular audits on the folder management.
  • Control of 3rd party contractors including monitoring of work performance and standards, including internal auditing where applicable in conjunction with the Technical Manager
  • Ensure that Specialist Service Provider worksheets are signed off, the quality of work is inspected, and recommendations are escalated to the Technical Manager
  • Take responsibility for escalating critical incidents and producing and submitting incident reports within the prescribed timescales in conjunction with both the Technical /Account Managers
  • The Supervisor will ensure he supports other teams on site to run the building and promote / encourage cross training in other aspects of the building maintaining the 100% uptime criteria
  • The Supervisor will ensure that Plant areas, workshops, stores, changing/rest areas etc. are kept to the highest level of housekeeping
  • including critical plant status, plant isolations, issues arising, ongoing works, special task requests, standard of housekeeping
  • Ensure that the shift log is accurately completed by the end of their shift and paperwork is filled in correctly and kept up to date
  • Experience & Qualifications:

  • Formal qualification in electrical, mechanical, or building services engineering
  • Experience as an end user of a Building Management Systems
  • Demonstrable experience of managing contractors and supervising staff
  • 18th Edition IEE: Wiring & Installation
  • Previously LV/HV Authorised Person
  • C&G 236 Parts 1 and 2 or mechanical equivalent
  • C&G 2391 – Desirable
  • Be conversant with current Health and Safety legislation with relevance to safe working practices. Sound level of administration/organizational skills
