We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Regents Wharf. This role involves delivering planned and reactive maintenance services within a commercial environment, ensuring operational excellence and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance in accordance with company schedules and standards.
- Operate and maintain records using the CAFM system accurately and efficiently.
- Produce technical and situational reports as required.
- Manage subcontractors while working on site.
- Respond to reactive maintenance works as directed by the Help Desk and management team.
Client & Team Communication
- Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and clients at all times.
- Write activity reports in line with company procedures accurately and in a timely manner.
- Provide accurate information to support the management team in producing quotations for additional works.
- Attend team meetings and briefings.
- Escalate major site issues or incidents to line management immediately.
Compliance & Professional Standards
- Ensure all works are carried out in a professional, proactive and quality manner.
- Utilize technology systems to maintain contractual compliance.
- Submit accurate weekly timesheets on time.
- Represent the company professionally at all times.
- Understand and adhere to all relevant Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality legislation.
- Actively participate in health and safety processes including accident investigation, reporting, risk assessments and auditing.
- Handle, store and use all materials and equipment in accordance with relevant regulations.
Essential Requirements
- Electrical Engineering apprenticeship, NVQ or City & Guilds qualification.
- 18th Edition IEE: Wiring and Installation (or 17th Edition with willingness to complete 18th Edition training).
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a commercial maintenance environment.
- Knowledge of air conditioning, ventilation extraction, plumbing and general building fabric.
