Environmental Operative required for a Prestigious Manufacturing Site in Raynesway Derby.
40 Hours Pw, 28 Days Holiday including BH, full training given. Forklift Licence an advantage or willing to carry out training to obtain. £27,040.
The Environmental Operative will:
- Undergo SC clearance to obtain a white badge for site access.
- Support the site SSM with waste-related cleaning activities.
- Report daily to both JLL SSM and Mitie waste operative.
- Collaborate with Mitie waste management on all waste activities.
- Collate legislation consignment notes and Waste Transfer Notes, working closely with Mitie waste operatives and management.
- Carry out waste collections around the site as instructed by the client SSM and Mitie waste.
- Liaise with Mitie waste and their contractors to ensure timely waste collection.
- Ensure proper waste segregation, working with Mitie to verify waste leaves the site in correct, well-maintained receptacles that pose no transport issues.
- Maintain clean and tidy waste yards.
- Complete work orders promptly.
- Adhere to Rolls Royce, Mitie, and JLL Health and Safety policies.
- Perform forklift duties as requested by Mitie.
- Complete all required training on Workday in a timely manner.
- Always wear appropriate PPE.
- Refrain from discussing JLL entitlements, pay, and incentives with Mitie waste personnel.
- Complete all waste collections and uplifts in the absence of Mitie personnel.
- Report directly to JLL SSM and Operations Manager.
- Always conduct themselves professionally.
- Ensure all work aligns with risk assessments and safe systems of work.
- Maintain daily vehicle check sheets.
- Report all hazards and incidents via the JLL reporting process.
