Responsible for the safe execution of concurrent projects for various sites. As part of the role the site manager must ensure that the projects are delivered to meet JLLWorkplace Management UK&I and client standards in regards to safety, quality and programme, whilst complying as a Principle Contractor with current CDM legislation. Site managers must be qualified in a related trade, mechanical, electrical, civil engineering, building fabric, roofing etc. The successful candidate will have at least 10 years industry experience and a demonstrable career, ideally working on Design and Build infrastructure, civil engineering, fabric or fit out projects for well-established clients. Support the project risk management process and ensure effective controls are established to ensure the safe and timely delivery of the project. ~ Support project opportunities where identified, to realise, maintain and improve the commercial project performance. Support where required the mandatory reporting of KPI's, Good Catches/Near Misses (GC/NM), accidents and incidents are carried out as per JLL Workplace Management UK&I and Client procedures. ~ To ensure our suppliers, sub-contractors and direct workforce follow company policies and procedures including Health & Safety, Quality Assurance and Engineering standards. ~ Carry out daily activity briefings sub-contractors. ~ Maintain accurate records of works done and expenditure reporting this information to the project manager where applicable. ~ Liaise with the project manager to order general materials as required to complete the project. ~ Liaise with the Client's Project Manager to ensure that the works are delivered in accordance with the workbook. ~ Carry out regular site manager safety audits and report findings to the management / safety team. ~ Deliver projects to programme as set by the senior management team ~ To lead your team to deliver the company's \"management expectations\" successfully across all key areas of the project, managing and supporting the individuals and team that are under your control to meet and exceed business performance targets. ~ To enhance the strength of contract delivery to ensure highest standards of quality are maintained in accordance with programme delivery. ~ Provide trade knowledge and support if required to ensure the quality and performance of the works. ~ Ensure projects are completed snag and defect free. Project a professional demeanour with colleagues, clients and their customers. ~ Ability to clearly communicate work tasks and win the commitment of others to achieving high levels of operational performance.
