Job Description
Integral UK is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Plumbing Apprentice to join our building services team. This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical, hands‑on experience in plumbing within a commercial setting. You will work alongside experienced plumbing engineers, receiving comprehensive training and mentorship to establish a solid foundation for a successful career in the plumbing trade.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and heating systems.
- Support senior plumbers on‑site with various tasks to ensure systems operate efficiently and meet industry standards.
- Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications for plumbing installations.
- Participate in routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities to uphold safety and functionality.
- Help troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Develop an understanding of health and safety regulations to ensure compliance and safe working conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Desired Skills, Qualities, and Experience
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above. A grade 5 in Maths and Science is required for this role.
- Enthusiastic and passionate about a career in engineering.
- Eager to develop new skills and knowledge in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Good level of attendance, self‑discipline and time management. Meeting deadlines, managing multiple tasks effectively.
- There is a minimum age requirement of 18 years old.
- You may be required to complete a DBS check, at either basic or enhanced level, depending on the location you will be working in.
Important Information
GRADES : If you are on predicted grades, your offer will be conditional to achieving the required grades before the apprenticeship start date.
