Job Description:

Integral UK is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Building Service Engineering Technician Apprentice to join our team. This apprenticeship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in maintaining and servicing building services systems. You will work alongside experienced professionals, receiving comprehensive training and mentorship to lay the groundwork for a successful career in building services engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the maintenance and commissioning of heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Support maintenance and repair tasks to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely.
  • Learn to interpret technical drawings and specifications to execute installation tasks effectively.
  • Participate in site visits and inspections to assess system performance and compliance with standards.
  • Help in troubleshooting issues and performing necessary adjustments or repairs.
  • Develop an understanding of health and safety regulations to promote a safe working environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

  • Desired Skills, Qualities, and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above. A grade 5 in Maths and Science is required for this role
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about a career in engineering
  • Eager to develop new skills and knowledge in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Good level of Attendance, self-discipline and time management. Meeting deadlines, managing multiple tasks effectively
  • There is a minimum age requirement of 18 years old
  • You may be required to complete a DBS check, at either basic or enhanced level, depending on the location you will be working in.
  • Important Information:

    GRADES: If you are on predicted grades, your offer will be conditional to achieving the required grades before the apprenticeship start date.

    The recruitment process for this programme will take place in March & April 2025
