£35,000 per annum Monday to Friday | 6:00am – 4:00pm Kent & South East Routes

Integral Staff is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and respected transport business for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a company that values professionalism, reliability and taking pride in a job well done.

They're looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career—not someone who's simply watching the clock.

The Role

You'll be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries across the South East, typically making 6–12 drops per day, with busier days occasionally reaching around 15 deliveries.

You'll mainly cover established routes including

  • Bromley
  • Croydon
  • Canterbury
  • Chichester
  • Brighton

Most drivers remain on the same routes, only covering alternative areas when supporting colleagues or during annual leave.

  • What's on Offer
  • £35,000 annual salary
  • Monday to Friday working pattern
  • Start time of 6:00am
  • Consistent delivery routes
  • Long-term opportunity with a supportive employer
  • Early finishes when workloads allow, subject to business needs
  • The Ideal Candidate

Our client is looking for someone who

  • Holds a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
  • Has a valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Is fully compliant with Drivers' Hours and Tachograph regulations.
  • Takes pride in their work and their vehicle.
  • Completes daily vehicle walkaround checks thoroughly.
  • Delivers excellent customer service.
  • Is reliable, professional and safety-conscious.

This isn't a role for someone looking to rush through the day.

Our client values drivers who work carefully, follow procedures and represent the business professionally at every customer site.

Deliveries

The majority of deliveries are unloaded using a forklift by the customer.

On occasion, customers may ask for assistance with handballing goods, so you'll need to be happy to lend a hand when required.

Vehicle Safety

Vehicles are fitted with both forward-facing and driver-facing cameras to support driver safety and protect both drivers and the business.

These systems are not used for routine monitoring but may activate if unsafe behaviours, such as mobile phone use or signs of fatigue, are detected.
