Integral Staff are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing transport business for a professional and organised Transport Coordinator to join their team in Dartford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role that combines customer service, administration and transport coordination. Working as part of a busy and supportive team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring deliveries run smoothly while building strong relationships with customers, drivers and internal departments.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive and confident communicating with people at all levels. No two days are the same, so this role would suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys problem-solving and keeping operations running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinating daily transport schedules and supporting vehicle movements
- Acting as a key point of contact for drivers, customers and internal teams
- Providing excellent customer service and resolving queries efficiently
- Maintaining accurate transport and delivery records
- Monitoring delivery performance and supporting operational efficiency
- Assisting the transport team with general administration and day-to-day coordination
- Supporting continuous improvement across transport operations
- Previous experience within transport, logistics or a similar operational environment preferred
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
- Positive, team-oriented and proactive approach
- £28,000 annual salary
