Integral Staff is seeking a confident and detail-oriented Claims Handler (Transport) to join a well-established transport business based in Slough. If you have experience handling insurance claims and enjoy client interaction, this is an excellent opportunity to step into a dynamic and rewarding role within the transport sector.

The Role:

As a Claims Handler, you’ll be responsible for managing insurance claims related to transport and logistics. This includes working directly with clients, insurers, and legal representatives, as well as arranging and attending conferences to discuss claim requirements. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that all claims are handled efficiently, professionally, and in line with policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling and processing insurance claims related to vehicle accidents, cargo, and liability.
  • Liaising with clients to understand the circumstances of claims and gather required documentation.
  • Coordinating with insurers, solicitors, and third parties throughout the claims process.
  • Preparing files and attending client conferences to discuss case requirements and resolutions.
  • Ensuring claims are resolved within agreed timelines while maintaining a high level of service.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting to management on claim trends and statuses.

  • Proven experience in insurance claims handling, ideally within the transport or logistics sector.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills – confident in dealing directly with clients.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant claims systems.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
