We're recruiting for an experienced Technical Account Manager to join a leading fresh food manufacturing business supplying major UK retailers, restaurants, and foodservice brands. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in food manufacturing, technical compliance, and customer management to take ownership of key customer relationships and drive continuous improvement across quality, food safety, and technical performance.
The Role
- Act as the main technical contact for key customers
- Build strong customer relationships and manage technical expectations
- Lead customer meetings, audits, and site visits
- Drive improvement plans around complaints, microbiology, and site standards
- Support and develop the Technical Compliance Officer
- Work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and growers
About You
- Minimum 5 years experience within chilled food manufacturing
- Background in QA or Technical roles within food production
- Customer-facing technical experience within the food industry
- HACCP qualified with internal auditing experience
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
