We are looking for a proactive and organised European Transport Coordinator to join a busy and growing logistics operation based in Dartford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in international transport, freight forwarding or import/export operations who enjoys building relationships and keeping freight moving efficiently across Europe.
The Role
- Coordinate and allocate work to subcontractor drivers across the Benelux and Italy regions
- Manage import/export transport movements efficiently and cost-effectively
- Build strong working relationships with hauliers and transport partners
- Source and sell return loads to maximise vehicle utilisation
- Liaise daily with customers, subcontractors, and distributors
- Resolve transport and operational issues quickly and professionally
About You
- Previous experience within transport, logistics, freight forwarding or import/export
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Highly organised with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Confident managing subcontractors and transport partners
- European transport knowledge would be highly advantageous
