Principal EICA / Electrical Engineer

Location : Brighton, BN1 / Hybrid (occasional site visits across the Southeast)

Salary : £75,000 – £80,000 + bonus, excellent benefits, flexible working

What you’ll be doing :

• Leading on the design of sustainable and environmentally responsible solutions.
• Providing expert technical guidance and oversight on design calculations, specs and standards.
• Challenging the status quo, driving innovation and embedding best practice across projects.
• Collaborating with suppliers and partners to improve efficiency and raise technical standards.
• Researching and implementing cutting‑edge digital design concepts.
• Mentoring and developing junior engineers.
• Delivering projects on budget and beyond expectations.

What we’re looking for :

• MSc / MEng in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (or equivalent).
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status (IET or similar).
• 10+ years’ experience in a relevant industry.
• A strong leader with excellent communication, problem‑solving and innovation skills.
• Full driving licence (site visits required).
