Requirements
- Proven 2nd line IT support experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows environments and common business applications
- Solid networking knowledge, including DHCP, DNS, switching, routing, and general server administration
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Intune, including device enrolment, policy management, and identity administration
- Ability to prioritise and stay calm under pressure in a busy environment
- Great communication skills and confidence dealing with clients directly
- Team player who thrives in an office-based, collaborative setting
- MSP experience preferred, with 2 years preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd line technical support, resolving escalated tickets from 1st line and working directly with clients to troubleshoot and fix issues
- Support a diverse client base across Yorkshire and global locations, adapting to different time zones and working styles
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and infrastructure issues
- Manage and troubleshoot networking environments, including DHCP, DNS, switching, routing, VPNs, and firewalls
- Support and maintain on-premise and virtual server environments
- Administer and support Microsoft Entra ID and Intune, including device management, conditional access, and identity/access administration
- Liaise with 2nd line and senior engineers on more complex problems
- Maintain accurate ticket records and documentation
- Contribute to a positive, high-energy team culture
