Requirements

  • Proven 2nd line IT support experience
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows environments and common business applications
  • Solid networking knowledge, including DHCP, DNS, switching, routing, and general server administration
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Intune, including device enrolment, policy management, and identity administration
  • Ability to prioritise and stay calm under pressure in a busy environment
  • Great communication skills and confidence dealing with clients directly
  • Team player who thrives in an office-based, collaborative setting
  • MSP experience preferred, with 2 years preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide 2nd line technical support, resolving escalated tickets from 1st line and working directly with clients to troubleshoot and fix issues
  • Support a diverse client base across Yorkshire and global locations, adapting to different time zones and working styles
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and infrastructure issues
  • Manage and troubleshoot networking environments, including DHCP, DNS, switching, routing, VPNs, and firewalls
  • Support and maintain on-premise and virtual server environments
  • Administer and support Microsoft Entra ID and Intune, including device management, conditional access, and identity/access administration
  • Liaise with 2nd line and senior engineers on more complex problems
  • Maintain accurate ticket records and documentation
  • Contribute to a positive, high-energy team culture
