Lake Imaging is the leading radiology provider in central and western Victoria operating over 19 clinics. We offer a broad range of diagnostic imaging services to the St John of God private hospitals, community-based clinics and specialty centres throughout Melbourne, Ballarat, Geelong, and Warrnambool.

About The Role

Lake Imaging is excited to offer a new opportunity for a Site Supervisor to manage the Medical Imaging department across the region. This role will be responsible for maintaining high-quality, efficient imaging services for both patients and referrers, providing leadership to the medical imaging team, and overseeing the day-to-day operations at Melton, Bacchus Marsh and West Springs, reporting to the Regional Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the provision of high-quality, efficient imaging services at Lake Imaging
  • Foster collaborative relationships with radiologists, modality supervisors, clinical and clerical staff, and external stakeholders
  • Supervise practice workflows to meet designated timelines
  • Support management in driving the ongoing growth and development of the organization
  • Involvement in managing the clinical staff roster

To be successful in this role

  • A minimum of 10 years clinical experience in a Radiology practice
  • Demonstrated team leadership skills
  • Excellent diagnostic imaging skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Familiarity with RIS/PACS systems
  • A strong desire for continued professional development and education
  • Commitment to aligning with and supporting our mission statement

Qualifications

  • Qualifications in Medical Imaging (Bachelor of Science or equivalent) recognised by ASMIRT
  • AHPRA and professional indemnity insurance
