About The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Sonographer to join our team at
FMIG Hawthorn clinic. The role is available on either a part‑time or full‑time basis depending on the candidate’s preference.
The position also requires rotation through our Capital Radiology Camberwell and Malvern clinics.
Our clinics are equipped with up‑to‑date equipment within a modern clinical setting, and the Sonographer will be responsible for delivering high‑quality scans that the community trusts us to provide.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with patients, referrers, and teammates.
- Provide responsive, accurate and timely diagnoses for optimal delivery of results with excellent customer service.
- Prioritise a busy workload and work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Work with clinic teams to identify and proactively deliver on the Health & Safety framework.
- Provide feedback to other members of the clinic and operational teams to help identify training and development needs.
- Collaborate with National Ultrasound Leader, Site Chief and/or Regional Manager on growth initiatives for the clinic.
- Selection Criteria
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Ultrasound.
- Skilled across a broad range of scanning competences, MSK in particular.
- 2+ years of post‑qualified experience.
- Hold and maintain current registration with ASAR and completion of an ASAR accredited course.
- Hold and maintain annual liability insurance through the ASA, or an equivalent provider.
- A value‑driven attitude and work ethic.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills that will allow you to thrive in a team‑oriented environment.
