We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Support Worker to join our team.

MALE SUPPORT WORKERS ONLY.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care to a Person We Support who has Severe Autism, ADHD and verbal Challenging Behaviour.

This role involves supporting this Young Adult to go cycling, accompanying him to his football training football matches, and also going to the gym with him.

You are to ensure his safety and well-being at all times.

Duties Tasks Maintain a safe environment Support with difficult social situations Support with making good habits and choices Support to attend appointments with professionals involved in his care and advocate for his needs.

Support to attend various recreational activities like gym, football and cycling Support with shopping, meal planning and budgeting Emotional and practical support Support to respond when in crisis or anxious / offer reassurance and support Qualifications Previous experience with Autism, ADHD or Challenging Behaviour is highly desirable.

Certification in Oliver Mc Gowan Training preferred but not essential; training may be provided.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both the Person We Support and family members.

A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
