Overview
We\’re Hiring: Teaching Assistant
Integra Education are looking for a caring and experienced Teaching Assistant to support a Year 1 pupil in a primary school in the Atherton area.
The pupil has ASD and SCD and finds larger groups/crowds challenging, so your support will make a real difference to their learning and wellbeing.
This is a rewarding 1:1 role, helping the pupil with:
- Daily routine
- Classwork and activities
- Building confidence in a supportive environment
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 support to the pupil, supporting learning and wellbeing in a primary school setting.
- Assist with classwork and activities, helping the pupil to engage and participate.
- Support the pupil with daily routines and transitions as needed.
What we\\\’re looking for
- Previous SEN experience (essential)
- Hold a Level 2 TA qualification
- Be flexible, patient and understanding
- Be able to communicate effectively within a team
