Integra South is looking for additional Data Cabling Engineers to join our growing team, working across London and the South East.

We currently have a strong pipeline of work across commercial, education and corporate environments and are looking to expand our engineering team.

We are interested in hearing from both experienced Lead Engineers and developing/junior Data Engineers.

For senior applicants, we’re looking for people who can take ownership of works on site, work from drawings, organise a small team and deliver installations to a high standard without constant supervision.

For less experienced applicants, we’re looking for people with the right attitude who want to develop their skills and progress within the industry.

Training and experience can be built over time.

Reliability, work ethic and willingness to learn are essential.

  • Fibre optic cabling
  • Data cabinet installation, dressing and patching
  • Fluke testing and certification
  • Wireless Access Point installations
  • PA / speaker system infrastructure
  • Working at height
  • Commercial office installations
  • Education and school environments
  • Data centre / communications room works
  • Lead / Senior Engineers
  • Cat6 / Cat6A installation and termination
  • Fluke DSX testing and fault finding
  • Reading drawings and cable schedules
  • Cabinet installation and dressing
  • Leading small teams of engineers
  • Managing your own workload on site
  • Liaising professionally with clients and site management
  • Completing QA and project documentation

We’re particularly interested in engineers who are comfortable being given a scope of works and taking responsibility for delivering it.

Junior / Developing Engineers

You don’t need to know everything.

We’re interested in engineers who already have some cabling/site experience and want to develop into experienced Data Engineers.

You must be

  • Reliable
  • Hard working / Willing to learn
  • Comfortable working as part of a team
  • Able to follow instructions and work to a good standard
  • Interested in developing a long-term career within the industry

There will be opportunities to gain experience across structured cabling, testing, fibre, containment and larger project installations.

Requirements

Depending on experience and role

  • Valid ECS / CSCS card
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
  • IPAF desirable
  • Enhanced DBS desirable or willingness to obtain one
  • Own basic hand tools
  • Professional attitude when working on client sites
  • Rates

£130 - £250 per day depending on experience and capability.

Rates will reflect what you can actually do rather than simply the number of years you’ve worked within the industry.

Long-term and ongoing opportunities are available for the right people.

Most work is across London, Kent and the South East, although occasional travel may be required.
