We are currently recruiting for Catering Assistants to work in a variety of schools across the Manchester area, supporting school kitchen teams in providing delicious meals for pupils and staff. As a recruitment agency working with local schools, we are looking for reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our team on a flexible basis. Location: Various schools across Manchester Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am–2:00pm (hours may vary depending on the school) Key Responsibilities Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals. Helping with general kitchen duties, including washing up and cleaning. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety. Ensuring the dining and kitchen areas are kept clean and tidy. Supporting the catering team to ensure the smooth running of the school kitchen. Providing a friendly and helpful service to pupils and school staff. The Ideal Candidate Previous catering or kitchen experience is desirable but not essential. A positive attitude and willingness to learn. Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team. Able to follow food hygiene, health and safety procedures. Comfortable working in a busy school environment. What We Offer Monday to Friday working hours, with no regular weekend work. Part-time hours, ideal for fitting around family or other commitments.
