Class 2 Driver in Garden City

RATES: £21.85 per hour LOCATION: Deeside (CH5) JOB ROLE: Class 2 Driver SHIFTS: Monday to Friday SHIFT TIMES: 07:30 to 17:30 BENEFITS: Minimum 8-hour guaranteed per shift Planned average 10-hour shifts Consistent regular ongoing work and job security Pension scheme Attractive rewards and premiums associated with weekend working Supportive, customer-focused team REQUIRMENTS: Valid Category C (Class 2) driving licence Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card Previous Class 2 driving experience of 6 months No more than 6 points for insurance purposes Experience with multi-drop deliveries is desirable Confident using an electric pump truck A professional attitude with a strong focus on safety and customer service Reliable, punctual and able to work independently DUTIES: Safely operate a Class 2 HGV with a curtain-sided trailer. Complete up to 15 deliveries per shift, depending on the route. Carry out kerbside deliveries to a variety of customer locations. Use an electric pump truck to load, unload and move goods safely. Ensure all deliveries are completed efficiently and professionally. Complete all relevant delivery paperwork and vehicle checks. Maintain excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and the transport team. Adhere to all road traffic legislation, health and safety procedures, and company policies.
