About the Role

We are looking for a relatable, energetic and open-minded Personal Assistant to support a creative and imaginative child currently educated other than at school (EOTAS), who has hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS) and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) so experience working with these needs is preferred.

What You'll Do

  • Fun, action-packed trips to inflatable slide parks, shopping centres, crafting spots, and possibly heated pools.
  • Engaging in creative play, games designed for younger age groups.
  • Navigating public spaces in a way that respects her physical energy levels, offering physical support when needed.

Who We Are Looking For

This role would be an ideal fit for Youth Workers or Gym Coaches who are naturally relatable and energetic.

  • Silly & Open-Minded: Someone who doesn't take themselves too seriously, loves playfulness and embraces creative games/accents.
  • Understanding of PDA: Experience with or an understanding of Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA).
  • Positive & Relatable: Warm, animated, nurturing and authentic.
  • Physically Able: Must have full physical ability (no movement or pain limitations) to assist and support during physical activities.

Key Requirements

  • Driver: Must hold a valid driving licence and have access to your own car.
