Integra People are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing construction business for an experienced Construction Project Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic organisation delivering a wide range of high-quality projects across both public and private sectors.
As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for delivering construction projects from concept through to completion. Acting as the key day-to-day client interface, you will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and programmes
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Manage procurement of materials, labour, and resources efficiently
- Ensure compliance with building regulations, health & safety, and contractual requirements
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement effective solutions
- Produce and present regular project reports to senior management and clients
- Work closely with the commercial team to ensure effective cost management
- Oversee quality control and adherence to design specifications
- Manage site teams where required, including resource planning and performance management
- Capture key project learnings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain strong financial oversight across all project stages
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry
- Degree or HNC in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent
- Valid SMSTS and First Aid certification
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and industry standards
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and subcontractors
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Good IT proficiency
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Full UK driving licence
