Are you a skilled chef with a passion for preparing nutritious and delicious meals for children? We are seeking a Nursery Chef to work in our charming nursery in Harrogate, HG3.
Responsibilities:
- Meal Preparation: Arrive at the school by 9:00 AM to prepare and cook meals. Please note that our kitchen is equipped with a hot trolley and two hot plates, but there is no conventional oven.
- Lunch Service: Serve meals for the nursery, which typically starts at 12:00 PM. On average, there are 10-13 children daily for this session.
- Main School Lunch: Starting from 12:30 PM, serve an additional 55-60 meals to the main school children. Each day, there are three menu choices already selected by the children, listed on an Excel spreadsheet.
- Cleaning and Washing Up: After lunch concludes at 1:00 PM, clean the hall, tables, and floor. Wash up plates, pans, cutlery, and tidy the kitchen.
Requirements:
- Applicants must have an enhanced DBS checked for child barring.
- Previous experience as a chef preferred.

- £12.00 paye
- Paid every Friday
- Monday to Friday 09:00 till 14:00
