They are investing heavily in people, capability and compliance — and now looking for a Head of Design to lead that journey. This is a real leadership role, not just managing drawings. You will take full ownership of the design function — raising standards, improving process, and building a strong, motivated team around you.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage the design team day to day
- Set design standards and processes that fit the new regulatory environment
- Review and approve drawings and technical details
- Collaborate closely with PMs, commercial, fabrication and site teams
- Support bids and tenders with strong technical input
- Engage directly with architects and main contractors
- Mentor junior designers and build the department
