HV Fitter

We are recruiting 3 x experienced HV Fitters for a lucrative long-term contract on a major National Grid electricity infrastructure upgrade project in Central London.

This project forms part of a critical 400kV power network modernisation, supporting London’s growing demand and future-proofing the capital’s electricity supply. Works are being delivered within a modern GIS substation environment, supporting major HV infrastructure upgrades.

Scope of Works

• Mechanical installation and fitting works within GIS substations
• Working on and around power transformers, disconnectors and HV switchgear
• Working to National Grid safety standards and procedures

Requirements (Essential)

• National Grid Persons (essential)
• Demonstrable GIS substation experience (essential)
• Hands-on experience with power transformers and disconnectors
• Experience working on UK National Grid substations
