About the Role
We are seeking a creative, flexible and relationship-focused mentor to support a 13-year-old autistic young person accessing an EOTAS package through their EHCP. This is not a traditional teaching or tutoring role. Learning takes place through interests, life skills, community experiences and real-world activities. The successful mentor will build a trusting relationship and support learning in ways that feel meaningful, engaging and accessible.

Essential Requirements
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Non-smoker
- Comfortable around pets, particularly cats
- Able to work collaboratively with family and professionals
- Willing to complete a probationary period
Desirable Experience
- Understanding of autism, ADHD and PDA
- Awareness of physical and/or mental health conditions and their impact on daily life
- EOTAS, alternative provision or mentoring experience
- Community-based learning
- Life skills support
- Outdoor activities and nature
- Cooking and practical skills
