The predicted salary is between 17 - 23 £ per hour.

Location: Saltaire / Family Home (Hybrid Working)

Hours: 15–20 hours per week (Monday–Friday, ideally mornings)

Contract: Term Time Only + Approximately 4 Weeks During School Holidays

Pay: £17.50 - £23.00 per hour dependant on experience

We are seeking an organised, proactive, and compassionate Personal Assistant & Administrative Support Coordinator to provide direct support to a family and wider support package. This is a varied and rewarding role that combines high-level administrative responsibilities with coordination and communication across a multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will work primarily with a pupil who receives education through an EOTAS package, while also supporting the wider care and education package. Working hours are ideally mornings, with flexibility around the exact schedule. Once agreed, working hours will remain fixed.

About the Role

This position involves a combination of personal assistant duties, administrative coordination, and support with package management. The role will be based across a family home and an office in Saltaire.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing day-to-day personal assistant support.
  • Taking meeting notes and maintaining accurate records.
  • Organising and scheduling meetings, including preparing agendas and documentation.
  • Supporting GDPR compliance and health & safety administration.
  • Maintaining confidential records and documentation.
  • Liaising professionally with family members, therapists, educators, and other professionals.
  • Supporting the smooth running of the wider support package through effective administration and communication.
  • Managing competing priorities and ensuring deadlines are met.

Essential Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience supporting autistic young people and/or adults.
  • Understanding of ADHD and executive functioning differences.
  • Knowledge of the PDA profile and low-demand approaches.
  • Commitment to neurodiversity-affirming and strengths-based practice.
  • Experience supporting individuals who experience anxiety and emotional overwhelm.
  • Ability to build trusting, respectful relationships at an individual's pace.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with families, therapists, and other professionals.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Non-smoker.
  • Comfortable working around dogs.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience supporting young people who have experienced school-based trauma or extended periods out of education.
  • Understanding of sensory processing differences and sensory regulation strategies.
  • Experience supporting community access, travel training, and independent living skills.
  • Knowledge of mental health, anxiety management, and emotional regulation approaches.
  • Experience supporting young people to develop hobbies, friendships, interests, and community connections.
  • First Aid qualification.
  • Experience supporting transitions into adulthood, volunteering, employment, or further education.
