We are recruiting an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our established and highly stable engineering team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of electrical systems across our busy manufacturing facility.

The Role

As an electrically biased engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Planned and reactive electrical maintenance on manufacturing and production equipment
  • Electrical fault-finding on motors, drives, control panels, sensors, and safety circuits
  • Working with PLCs, inverters, and drive systems to diagnose and rectify faults
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve reliability
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with electrical safety standards and compliance
  • Providing limited mechanical support where required, while remaining electrically focused

What We’re Looking For

  • Recognised electrical qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 minimum)
  • Apprentice trained or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Experience with PLCs, HMIs, VSDs, and industrial control systems (advantageous)
  • Background in manufacturing, heavy engineering, FMCG, or production environments
  • Comfortable working independently on days-based maintenance activities
