We are seeking a creative, patient, and engaging individual to support a pupil through an EOTAS (Education Other Than At School) package. This role focuses on developing the pupil’s interest in design and technology through hands-on use of a 3D printer. The successful candidate will support the pupil in designing and creating their own 3D printed projects, encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and independent thinking. The role is based in a farm setting, providing a unique and flexible learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the pupil in designing and creating 3D models using appropriate software
  • Facilitate the safe and effective use of on-site 3D printing equipment
  • Encourage creativity and exploration through hands-on design projects
  • Adapt tasks and approaches to suit the pupil’s individual learning needs
  • Work alongside a qualified teacher to support overall learning outcomes
  • Build a positive, trusting relationship to promote engagement and confidence

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience using 3D printers and relevant design software (e.g. CAD programs)
  • A creative and adaptable approach to learning
  • Experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Patient, empathetic, and able to build positive relationships
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff
  • Comfortable working in an outdoor, farm-based environment

Desirable:

  • Experience in EOTAS or alternative provision settings
  • Experience supporting pupils with additional needs
  • Background in design, engineering, or creative technology
